Grief’s 3rd album after the genre-defining “Come to Grief” and “Miserably Ever After”!
A Sludgecore classic masterpiece!!!

Grief. Such power in a single word. And such a perfect word to use for the name of this band. Nothing describes the music more.
To those alien to the sound of Sludge, this is the definition of grief put to noise.
First, notice the album cover – a void which seems to be some sort of portal, and a decaying torso floating through it. Whoever this man is, he is unrecognizable now – his head has exploded from the sounds of Sludge. This man could be you after listening to this record.
But to those familiar with Grief’s earlier material, this will be a fun ride, so pack some beer, a bong, and let’s get to listening.

This one opens up with the instrumental “I Hate Lucy”, which [I think] is a play on the show “I Love Lucy.” Starting out with a slow riff that hooks any Doom fan from the getgo. Grief haven’t lost their doom-and-gloom and they definitely still have their sludge sound. Ripping guitars, thunderous bass, drums that sound like war elephants rushing at you. This is a perfect album opener and a great start to an album.
After being pummeled for seven and a half minutes, “Polluted” begins, picking up the speed a bit and showing some more energy. Riffs are still trippy as fuck and should please any person out there who enjoys some recreational drugs.
